Betsy Tobin is an acclaimed novelist and short story writer. She is the author of a number of novels including Bone House (2000) – short-listed for the Commonwealth Prize and winner of a Herodotus Prize in America – The Bounce (2002), Ice Land (2008) and Crimson China (2010). Her short fiction has been anthologised and broadcast on Radio 4, and in 1995 she won the London Writer’s Competition with her short story Joyride. She is also the author of two plays: Between the Sexes, RTE (1996), and Home Front, Theatro Technis (1993).
