Marie Phillips

Marie Phillips is the author of the novel Gods Behaving Badly, which was published by Jonathan Cape in 2007. Gods Behaving Badly was a top-ten bestseller in the UK, and has sold in twenty further countries, including Canada, where it went to number one in the bestseller charts. It is currently being developed for screen by Ben Stiller’s company Red Hour. Marie is also an accomplished comedy writer. In 2009 she co-wrote and appeared in the live comedy show More Than Just the Library, she is a regular contributor to the Kilburn-based storytelling show Tall Tales, and her sketches have been commissioned for Radio Four. She hosts a monthly literary event in Windsor called the Firestation Bookswap which tours the country regularly.
