Andy Hill, Regional Programme Manager (North)

Andy is Programme Officer for West Yorkshire and Lancashire. After graduating with both a BA and PGCE in History from the University of Leeds he went on to gather over a decade’s worth of teaching experience in schools across his now native Yorkshire. In 2011, he hung up his chalk and began exploring opportunities for learning outside the classroom. Since then, he has worked for a host of art galleries, museums, community organisations and charities. Spare time is a fine balance between fell-running, carpentry and re-learning the guitar. Oh and books, yes of course, he likes books…

Andy’s favourite books are The Outsider by Albert Camus, I am Legend by Robert Mattheson and The Explorer by James Smythe.
